Pass\u00e1mos dois dias inteiros a preparar o nosso subpavimento de bet\u00e3o, a esmerilar os pontos altos e a preencher os pontos baixos, porque sab\u00edamos que qualquer imperfei\u00e7\u00e3o seria sentida. Um tren\u00f3 ir\u00e1 encontrar todas as falhas no seu pavimento. Os documentos tamb\u00e9m especificam que a relva tem de se aclimatar \u00e0 temperatura ambiente durante, pelo menos, 24-48 horas e ser desenrolada para relaxar. Apressar este passo significa que a relva pode expandir-se ou contrair-se depois de colada, provocando bolhas e costuras. Parece que os organizadores podem ter esquecido estes passos cr\u00edticos e demorados na pressa de montar um recinto tempor\u00e1rio de grandes dimens\u00f5es.
